Assistant Swim Coach

I have been swimming competitively since I was seven years old. I swam for Skyline High School where I lettered in swimming. Throughout high school, I trained with Olympic video analysis equipment with ex-olympian coaches. I have taught swim lessons to all age groups for five years now, while also helping to coach the Skyline Eagle Aquatic Team on the side. I currently attend the University of Utah, where I am studying psychology and nursing. I also continued swimming for the U of U club swim and dive team. My favorite color is red (go utes), and my favorite food is pasta! I'm so excited to coach this summer and get to know all of the swimmers! My picture is below!

Assistant Swim Coach

I started swimming in third grade and have loved it ever since! In high school, I swam on the Skyline Swim team and did the 500 free and 200 free. I still love swimming and go whenever I can! Besides swimming, I love blueberry donuts, my family, violin music, and Frosted Mini Spooners (the knock-off “Frosted Mini Wheats” cereal). I returned from an LDS mission in Taiwan a few months ago and have started my first year at BYU. I’m studying violin performance and love it.

Head Dive Coach

This is my sixth year coaching in the country club leagues. I love everything about diving. I love watching the kids focus, learn new dives, overcome fear, try hard things, compete at their best, and I even like to see a good crash here and there (safely of course). Back in the old days of my diving career I took state in high school for Olympus. I like green too! I was top 20 at junior nationals and qualified multiple times to senior nationals. I went on to represent BYU for 4 years and was the Mountain West Conference diver of the year graduating with a BA in physics and math teaching. I now love hanging out with my 6 kids and my awesome husband while we ski, mountain bike, hike, kayak, river raft and do everything outside we can think of. My favorite hobby in the whole world though is sledding, ask me about it sometime! I can't wait to get to know all these amazing kids at Cottonwood Country Club!
